Artist: Actor/Writer/Visual Dramaturg

Rosie Race trained in choreography and visual performance at Dartington College of Arts before graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2018. She is a freelance actor/writer as well as being a core member of Quirk Theatre in Devon. She works as a visual dramaturg and is Associate Artist at Theatre Royal Plymouth where her first full length show ‘Us Against The World’ premiered to standing ovation in February 2024. UATW will tour off broadway in 2025. Rosie was selected to join Soho Writers Lab where she wrote her latest play ‘Filthy Animal’ which has been shortlisted for the Tony Craze Award 2024. This spring she embarks on her third work for stage ‘No Woman is an Island’ commissioned by Middle Child Theatre. Rosie is Associate Artist of Theatre Alibi and Documental Theatre and Associate Lecturer in Acting and Physical Performance at University of Plymouth.
